Henry Winters

Henry (Stormy) Winters of Airdrie, AB passed away suddenly with his wife Pat by his side on Thursday, April 9th, 2026.

He is lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his partner of nearly fifty years, Pat; his sister, Anne Boutkan of Medicine Hat; numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Doug Morrison; and many, many friends.

Stormy was well known in the border collie trialing world and travelled in their motorhome across the US and Canada to numerous trials competing with his beloved dogs, entertaining his friends with stories and feeding everyone brave enough his spaghetti omelets. He loved the trial at Meeker, Co. And wished he could have gone every year forever.

Stormy in his younger years rodeoed, worked with cutting horses, worked on the racetrack etc. To say he had an exciting, interesting life is an understatement. He has friends from all walks of life and from all over the country.
