James "Jim" Nicholson

James (Jim) Nicholson passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the age of 85. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Joan; his daughter, Joanne Houston; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jodi, Nikki, Courtney, Matthew, Sean, David, Lisa and John; 7 great-grandchildren;and his sister, Marilyn Folliet. He was predeceased by his father, James and mother, Georgina; grandparents and son, James Jr.

The Family would like to thank the home caregivers for the care Jim received. No Service will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation in Jim’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 119 14 St., NW #100, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6, or MS Research, 182A Heritage Medical Research Building, 3330 Hospital Dr. NW, Calgary, AB T2N 4N1 or an SPCA of your choice.
