Janet McIntyre

Janet McIntyre passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the age of 63 years.

Janet will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Kerry (Lori); her nephews, Dominick, Daryn and Zyden; her niece, Delaney; and her great niece, Sasha. She was predeceased by her dad and mom, Abram and Helen Giesbrecht; and her brother, Ron. 

Janet loved to travel especially the west coast, taking cruises to Alaska and California. She lived in many different places and eventually settled in Calgary where she came to love her job at Walmart. Working the night shift seemed to be her calling and she was really excited to learn the fork lift. However her greatest love in life was her cats. She never went without a cat living with her. Anything related to cats she loved including art work, clothing, statues. 

At the request of Janet, there will be no funeral or memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Calgary humane society in her honor, Attn: Fund Development, 4455 – 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 2T7.
