Julene Pedersen McCleary

Julene Pedersen McCleary, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 17, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 78. She was born on July 5, 1945, in Calgary to the late Robert and Myrtle Pedersen.

Julene was a woman of many passions and talents. She found solace and joy in reading, indulging in crafts, and spending time in her yard, planting beautiful flowers that brought color and life to her surroundings. Her green thumb was admired by all who knew her. She had a deep appreciation for nature's beauty and took pride in nurturing her garden.

However, it was in the presence of her family that Julene truly found her greatest happiness. Christmas was her favorite holiday, as it brought everyone together, and she cherished the love and warmth that filled the air during those magical times. Her grandkids held a special place in her heart, and their presence never failed to light up her eyes and bring a smile to her face.

Julene will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robin, and his wife Carrie McCleary, along with their children Josh and Aidan. She also leaves behind her daughter Reneta Tracy McCleary and her children, as well as her grandson Cody Christofferson. Her granddaughter Miranda and her husband Tyler Moritzky and their family were also dear to her heart.

In addition to her immediate family, Julene will be deeply missed by her dear friend Nickcol and Leon Caldwell and their children, as well as her extended family and friends. Her warm and caring nature touched the lives of many, and her presence will be greatly missed.

A private service will be held to honor and remember Julene Pedersen McCleary. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, let us cherish the memories we shared and find solace in knowing that she has reunited with her parents in heaven. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
