Julien was an incredible dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, who was always there for his family. He loved his friends and family deeply. He was known for his boisterous laugh that could fill a room, wonderful sense of humour and a huge smile. He was very hardworking and throughout his life had many jobs such as mechanic, and a millwright at Shell Canada at the Waterton and Scotford refineries. He loved woodworking in his spare time. He designed beautiful stagecoaches, and so many other incredible projects. He was lovingly known as gpa dude.

Gone but not forgotten. Julien is lovingly remembered by those who cherished him: son, Denis (Jaqueline); daughters, Liane (Nick), Lynda (Ian); grandchildren, Brittany (Shahin),

Devin, Cariane (Tyler), Kayla (Kendall), Katelyn (Jacob), Amy-Lynn, Travis (Samantha), Kyle and Elysia; great-grandchildren, Willow, Jackson, Hazel, and Viyanna; and siblings; Georgine, FJ, Vivian (Don), Donald and Joanne.

As per Julien’s wishes, a Celebration of Life and burial will be held in May or June 2026 in Lousana, AB.
