Kevin touched the lives of many friends and Leslie’s Family and will be remembered in their hearts.
He participated in and was involved in many sports through the years including softball, volleyball and hockey. He coached slo-pitch and fastball for over thirty years. The ball diamonds won’t be the same without him.

I remember him studying every draw, trying to chart the perfect path, and then trusting us to execute it on Sunday, even after a night out on Saturday. I'm sure that Nationals in Saskatchewan nearly pushed him over the edge.
One moment I will never forget was in Calgary, standing in the batter’s box when Tainted Love suddenly blasted from the beer garden speakers. I couldn’t resist a little wiggle. Kevin immediately called “TIME.” When we met halfway down the third-base line, he was unimpressed with my excuse of, “But it was Tainted Love.” He rolled his eyes, tapped my forehead, and said, “Focus.” It still makes me laugh!
Coaching fastball brought more of those third base moments: him giving signals, me shaking my head or shrugging like I didn't understand and him patiently repeating them. I can admit now that sometimes, I actually had no idea what the sign was but sometimes, it was just fun to see that signature eye roll.
Kevin was truly one of the good ones. His patience, dry humour, and steady presence made our teams -and our lives - better. He will be deeply missed.

( sometimes crazy ) yet fun loving gals at fastball. I don’t know how he did it …as I can say with our forever changing group of ladies , we had a lot of personalities!
My time at the diamonds with Kevin will never be forgotten.
