Kimberly McLachlin

On the morning of Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Kimberly Dawn McLachlin passed away peacefully surrounded by members of her family.

Kim was born on September 5,1987 in Swift Current, Sask. She moved to Leduc, Alberta in August 1989 with her family where she lived until 2002 when the family relocated to Airdrie, Alberta.

During her younger years, Kim enjoyed sports – particularly Soccer – which she excelled at. Both in Airdrie and Leduc, Kim played on competitive Soccer teams with her favorite number 5 on her jersey.

Kim graduated from Bert Church High School in 2005 and started working at Totem Building Supplies in Calgary where she met Jim Kingsbury whom she later married in 2011.

They went on to welcome 2 beautiful daughters, Niah Dawn and Noelle Willow, who both enjoy and excel at sports just like Kim did.

Kim was an excellent mother, always doting on Niah and Noelle or doing creative braids and beautiful hairstyles on both girls.

Kim worked for many years as an Area Manager in Show homes. She was very good at customizing floor plans and helped many homeowners design and build their dream homes.

Kim is lovingly remembered by her parents, Peter and Tania; her daughters, Niah and Noelle; her sister Jamie; niece Ella; her brother, PJ (Angie); nieces, Madison and Cassidy; Jim Kingsbury; her grandma and grandpa, Ken and June; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

To honor Kim’s wishes, the family will be holding a family Celebration of Life for Kim.
