It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Kurt Wilbur Adams, who left us peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the age of 70. Kurt was a man defined by service, courage, loyalty and love. He dedicated his life to the Canadian Armed Forces Air Force, serving his country with unwavering commitment and pride. Throughout his distinguished military career, Kurt was posted across Canada and deployed to locations around the world, answering every call to duty with strength, professionalism, and honor. Through decades of service, he exemplified the values of integrity, sacrifice, and dedication, earning the respect of his fellow service members and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Yet, while Kurt proudly served his country, his greatest devotion was always reserved for his family. Kurt shared a deep and enduring love with his life partner, Brenda Guptill, who brought immeasurable happiness, companionship, and joy to his life. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and cherished memories. He embraced Brenda's children— Valerie, Tracey, and Robbie—as his own, offering steadfast support, guidance, and affection throughout their lives. He was also a proud grandfather and great-grandfather . His family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them. When Kurt wasn't serving his country or spending time with family, he could often be found in the great outdoors. He had a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing, activities that brought him peace and joy and allowed him to forge unforgettable memories with his best friend, Mark. Whether sitting quietly beside a lake at sunrise, sharing stories around a campfire, or tracking game through the wilderness, those moments embodied the simple pleasures that Kurt valued most. Kurt also had a special place in his heart for dogs. Throughout his life, dogs were not just pets but loyal companions and cherished members of the family. His gentle nature and love for animals reflected the kindness and compassion that defined him. Those who knew Kurt will remember a man of quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and remarkable character. He was a trusted friend, a respected colleague, a devoted partner, a loving father and grandfather, and a proud Canadian veteran. He faced life's challenges with courage and humility, offering wisdom, a dry sense of humor, and encouragement to those around him. Kurt's life was a testament to service before self, duty before comfort, and love above all else. Though his passing leaves a void that can never truly be filled, his legacy lives on in the family he loved, the friends he cherished, the country he faithfully served, and the countless lives he touched along the way. We take comfort in remembering a life exceptionally well lived—a life marked by honor, sacrifice, adventure, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear. "Well done, good and faithful servant. Your watch has ended, but your legacy endures." May Kurt rest in peace, reunited with Brenda and Robbie, and all others who have gone before him, and may his memory forever remain a source of strength, pride, and inspiration to all who knew and loved him. Lest We Forget. ?? "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal."

Kurt was truly an amazing person. I will always remember his kindness and generosity, especially during our very first Christmas after we arrived in Canada. Starting a new life in a new country wasn’t easy, but Kurt made us feel welcomed and cared for. His thoughtful Christmas gifts meant so much more than the presents themselves—they reminded us that we weren’t alone. That simple act of kindness brought warmth and hope to our family during a time when we needed it most.

We will always remember Kurt with gratitude and respect. His kindness left a lasting impact on our lives, and his memory will stay with us forever.
