Lauraine Law

It is with profound sadness that the family of Lauraine Law (Thibert) announces her passing on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the age of 81 years.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 60 years, John; daughter, Barbara (Gordon Bruce) Sawka; and son, Stanley (Sandra Franklin-Law); her grandchildren, Noah, Abigail and Seth Law; as well as her sister and brother, Corinne Palmer and Robert (Laurie) Thibert; sisters-in-law, Agnes Thibert, and Carol Thibert. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Romeo and Juliet Thibert; brothers, Gerry and Romeo Thibert; nephew, Doug Thibert; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken Palmer, Joyce and Ashley Bassett. Lauraine was a loving, caring and compassionate person to all.  She was a mother of two, grandmother to three, and a mother/grandmother figure to so many more. She always had time for everyone and made you feel welcomed and cared for. She will be dearly missed by those who had a special relationship with her and the many friends she had in her life.  We wish to acknowledge and thank the family and friends who afforded Lauraine and our family comfort, friendship and kindness.

A Celebration of Lauraine's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
