Lee Christensen

Lee Orford Christensen passed away after a short illness, on Monday, December 11, 2023, with his family by his side. Lee was born on September 7, 1966, to Sheila and Roy Christensen. Lee lived his early years in Standard, Alberta, before the family moved to Crossfield, AB, in 1975, where Lee has resided since. After high school, Lee worked many years in the oil patch, he was very proud of being able to do heli-portable drilling as it gave him the opportunity to travel all over the United States and to Papua New Guinea. Lee is lovingly remembered by his brother, Ronald Christensen; nephew and niece, Marius and Hayley; his sister, Danna (Ken) Wood; nephews Jesse and Justin Wood; plus numerous other family members. He is predeceased by daughter, Kaitlyn; his father, Roy in 1997; his mother, Sheila in 2008; as well as his grandparents, Marius and Evelyn Christensen and Gerry and Annetta Cammaert.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Crossfield & District Community Centre, 900 Mountain Avenue, Crossfield, AB, on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lee’s name to the Crossfield Fire Department PO Box 500, Crossfield, AB T0M 0S0.
