In Memory
Lillian Thompson

Born at Loon Lake, Saskatchewan in 1930, Lillian Thompson passed away with family by her side, on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Airdrie, Alberta at the age of 95.
Lillian and Ernie raised their family and lived many years in Saskatoon. Lillian spent the past couple decades in Airdrie.
Family was everything to Lillian; she loved them all deeply and devoted her life to her large extended family. She tried to live by the ‘golden rule’ and was always grateful for what she had, making the best despite hardships. She was an avid reader and wherever she lived, she was an active volunteer with the museum, thrift store, Habitat for Humanity, Girl Guides and food bank.
Lillian is lovingly remembered by her children, Marlene (Joe), Rick, Bob (Kathy); grandchildren, Duane, Ryley (Ashley), Dylaney, Cally (Jarom); great-grandchildren, Samantha, Wyatt, Wylie, Sadie; siblings, Gary, Wilf (Cathy), Dorothy, Duff (Sharon); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Ernie; son, Dwaine; and granddaughters, LauraLee and Michelle.
The family would like to thank Dr. Collins and the team at Airdrie Care Community for their compassion, care and support the past few years. As per Lillian’s wishes, there will be no service.
Forever loved, fondly remembered and deeply missed.
