In Memory
Linda Johnsen
Linda Johnsen of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully at the
age of 60. She will be dearly missed by
her partner Dean, her mother Jean, her sisters Bev (Jane) and Barbara, and her beloved
dog Maisie. She is predeceased by her
father, Reginald in 2022.
Linda was born in Moose Jaw and raised in Calgary. After high school, her first job was at AGT. After the Calgary Olympics, she worked in the trade show industry for a number of years but returned to Telus where she worked in event planning for 22 years.
Linda had several interests, including camping, cross stitch, and golf. But Linda will be best remembered for her love of dogs and the Saskatchewan Roughriders – she was equally passionate about them both. She travelled to many Grey Cups and made many friends along the way.
Linda was social, full of spirit, and fiercely loyal. She enjoyed a good laugh and was always up for an adventure. Her loss will leave a hole but the memories of her will always bring a smile.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please visit prairierosefunerals.ca to leave
messages of condolence. In lieu of
flowers, the family suggests a donation to the animal rescue charity of your
choice.

LJ was a breathe of fresh air. She energized the room when she was there. Always smiling & laughing.
I had the pleasure of working with her at Telus & used to see her at lots of football games decked out in her green. Not too mention Stampede festivities.
Linda had an incredible zest for life & will be missed. RIP sweet angel.

Our friendship grew over the years and we shared a lot of fun memorable times together. Even though both of our lives went in different directions, every time our paths crossed I was greeted with a smile, a hug. I will always remember her for her incredible zest for life.
Rest In Peace my dear friend. You will be truly missed by all the people whose lives you touched.
My deepest condolences to the Frizzell family.
