In Memory
Linda Maude Oliver
With heavy hearts, but with cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Linda Maude Oliver on October 22, 2024, at the age of 73. Her daughters Cheryl, Christina, Theresa and Angela were by her side; she was never lonely and always loved. Sisters, Debbie and Gail along with nieces, Melissa and Amelia were always present, showing love and support to mom.
Mom was born on September 28, 1951, in Turtleford, SK. She was predeceased by her father, James in 1966 and her mother, Doreen in 1996.
She is survived by her sisters, Diane, Debbie and Gail; her 8 grandchildren, Joe, Erin, Tyler, Ayden, Brandon, Brittani, Jesslynne, and Edward; 6 great-grandchildren, Wesley, Chase, William, Serena, Adalynn and Atticus; and many nieces and nephews.
Mom was known for her great sense of humour, her creativity, her love of nature and her endearing love of family. Many of her family members will always treasure her remarkable crocheted creations she gifted to them. She never followed a pattern, always “winging it”.
She was an exceptional woman and those who loved her will hold a special place in their hearts. She will be fondly remembered by all.
The family would like to thank Units 31 and 32 of the Red Deer Regional Hospital for the loving care which was provided to our mother in her final days.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor with her family in the summer of 2025.
You are not alone, always loved, always treasured. Go peacefully, and rest, you are forever remembered.
Love always,
Cheryl, Christina, Theresa and Angela
