Linda Toomer Boprey (nee Cheney)

It is with great sadness that we announce that Linda has passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the age of 77.

Linda will be lovingly remember by son, Robert Scheerschmidt and Laury Scheerschmidt and her daughter, Yvette and Warren Chapin; as well as her step-children, Gloria and Glenn Goring, Jim and Diane Boprey, and Gail Manshanden; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Linda was born in Chelmsford Essex, England in 1947, and moved to Canada with her father and mother in 1948.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Joan Cheney; brother, Jim Cheney and sister, Donna Lorette; Linda's husband, Vernon Toomer in Oct 2000 and beloved husband, Bill Boprey, who she married later in years and who passed away in Feb 2011.

Linda was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date; to be announced by the family.
