Lucas (Luke) Mulder

October 8th, 1943 - July 19th, 2025
Lucas (Luke) Mulder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucas (Luke) Ronald Mulder of Airdrie, Alberta. Luke passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Luke is lovingly remembered by his loving wife, Deniece of 59 1/2 years; his 2 children, Charleen Gyle (nee Mulder) and Darren (Juanita) Mulder; his 5 grandchildren, Clayton (Sam), Kayla (Mitch), Taylor, Rebecca and Rex; and his 5 great-grandchildren, Cameron, Paisley, Eliza, Jacob and Payton whom he loved with all his heart.

All who were touched by Luke were lucky to have known him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

After 2 successful careers with the RCMP and Transport Canada, where he received many commendations as well as being recognized for his invaluable contributions to the organization of the 2002 G8 Summit, Luke and Deniece retired and spent many years enjoying the sun in Mesa Arizona making many new friends.

His passing will leave a big hole in the lives of those that knew and loved him that will never truly be filled. Luke leaves behind an incredible legacy in the family he created with Deniece that he was extremely proud of.

There will be an intimate family memorial, and in lieu of flowers, Luke's family requests a donation in his name to the Heart and Stroke foundation, www.heartandstroke.ca
