Lucille Westerson

Mrs. Lucille Westerson (nee Allison) of Didsbury, AB passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Centre in Didsbury on August 3, 2024 at the age of 91.  Lucille was born in Stettler on December 30, 1932. 

She will be greatly missed by her sons, Brian (Julie) of Grande Prairie, Barry (Sheryl) of Sylvan Lake and daughter, Dianne (Grant) of Didsbury; grandkids, Keith (Veronica), Michael David (Jasmine), Cassie (Sean), Alex (Shalom), Bryce (Karey); great-grandkids, Hayden, Finley, Lyrin, Oliver, Violet, Joseph, Elias, and Liam. Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Robert; her parents, three brothers and five sisters and a grandson. 

Lucille grew up in Drumheller and later the family moved to Calgary.  Lucille ended up working in the SAAN store from 16-20 years and then went to optometry school.  Lucille and Robert met in Calgary, where they were married on July 19, 1958.  Lucille and Robert moved to Airdrie where she loved to bake and garden and learned to knit and crochet.  She loved spending time with family especially the grandkids. 

As per Lucille wishes there will be no funeral.  She will be laid to rest with her husband at a later date.
