Years ago, I always loved being at a dog show with Lyndon. He always had us laughing and made shows so much fun to be at. After he left the dog show world, it wasn't the same for a long time.
Over the years, I would run into him occasionally and we always had a great chat & lots of laughs. He was such an amazing man. Truly cared about people & dogs and always made you feel special. He will be dearly missed.
May I hope all the wonderful memories you all shared with Lyndon throughout the years bring you peace and comfort during this very difficult time.

My sweet cousin Lyndon, how I will miss you. Lyndon spread love wherever he went, his laugh was infectious and what a sense of humor! He loved all his pups so much. I don't think he ever turned away an animal or a person in need. His presence on earth was a blessing to many. Love you cous ❤️

Today, I mourn the loss of a dear friend of over 25 years. He was one of the kindest souls I've ever known, someone who had an unwavering love for animals and a deep commitment to the dog show world. His patience and generosity extended not only to his beloved dogs but also to those around him—including my own children, whom he welcomed with open arms and taught so much.
His mentorship, kindness, and friendship will never be forgotten. I am forever grateful for the memories, lessons, and laughter we shared. Rest peacefully, my friend.

Thankyou all for your empathy. Lyndon and I both shared many Christmases together with other friends in the dog fancy. Those of us with loved ones needing tending on the homefront flocked together at such times. He was my dogsitter from 1991 to 2015. Following my retirement to Port Alberni, Lyndon and Danny came out for a visit. Danny predeceased Lyndon a few years ago. I'm sure they are sharing stories, coffees in hand. Lyndon left 5 dogs behind. His sister/executor is with them now. Trish Syncox Rose Sedgwick Carling Rita Sowden Amy Doyle Wendy Abramson Christa Schiffelers Wendy Graves Rhoda McPherson

I've been thinking about Lyndon a lot since I learned of his passing. I've been thinking about his wicked sense of humour and contagous and unmistakable laughter and mostly his kind heart. I feel so lucky to have known Lyndon, he was one of the best people I've ever known.
I met Lyndon first through the dog world and one crazy dog lady in particular, (we had a lot of fun chats about her,) and then at CRA where I really got to know him. We had the best conversations and I can still hear his voice in my head. He was so wonderful and caring after my husband passed away, bringing me cheer so many times.
So much love to Lyndon's family and the many people who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Uncle Lyndon would always send me his hand-me-downs. As a young feller, with no fashion sense, receiving a box of jackets, shirts and sweaters was a big deal. I thought about a two-tone brown jacket with leather trims he sent me many times and again just recently. I loved that jacket cause it was from uncle Lyndon and the girls thought i looked mature. Thought being the key word. The jacket fooled them!! Thanks uncle Lyndon! It worked!
He was a welcoming uncle with love for family and friends. Never to be forgotten.

Lyndon was my cousin. I didn’t know him as well as my sisters. But he was the most sweetest man. Kind to everyone. He would take time to come visit my parents in Red Deer. Loved his home, garden and his many dogs. He will be loved and missed. ❤️

Lyndon was my nephew and the son of my sister Annie. He always remembered Aunt Rita and my late husband Jud and I always enjoyed his visits. He was kind and loving and a truely genuine man. He will be so missed by so many. Lyndon and I took a cross country trip from newfoundland to alberta and he was notorious for getting lost, his niece Natasha will remember this. Rest in peace, unfortunately your going to join too many others that we loved and lost along the way. Love aunt Rita ❤️

I have many special memories of my cousin Lyndon. He was a huge animal lover and one of the truly kindest humans I have ever had the privilege to know. Last year we went to a garage sale that he held for a friend of his and me, and my sister got to enjoy a wonderful day with him and his sister. I'm glad for all the time that we did get to spend with him and he will forever be missed.

I’ve known Lyndon since I was 10 years old, and he has always been one of the kindest, warmest souls I’ve ever met. His genuine love for animals—especially dogs—shone through in everything he did. In fact, we got our very first dog from Lyndon, a memory I’ve cherished my whole life.

Even now, with the dog I have today, just the mention of Lyndon’s name makes him perk up and search for him like he’s about to walk through the door. That’s exactly how I always felt when I knew Lyndon was coming by—excited, happy, and comforted.

He was always there to listen, always made you feel important, and carried such a gentle strength. I miss him deeply and will carry his kindness and laughter with me always.

How do you say goodbye to a dear friend of 43 years. A friend who is always there when you need them. A friend who shared your love of animals and always helped with my flower garden. His knowledge of flowers and design always brought joy to those he shared it with. He had a special way with all animals large and small. I have never meet a man with more of a giving heart. If you were his friend he always had time for you. His passing has left an empty space and I can't believe I will never talk to him again. I know he is in God's loving arms and I'm sure he is watching over all who loved and called him a friend. Rest in peace my friend, and we will meet again that I'm ❤️ sure of.
