Magdalene Schuetz

Madalene Schuetz went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday evening, April 25, 2023. Madalene was born on August 9, 1934 to Fredrick and Hedwig Lange near the town of Ferland, Saskatchewan, the nineth of eleven children.  Madalene met the love of her life, Lloyd, and they married on June 20, 1953. He went on before her to be with the Lord just a few months ago.

Madalene will be deeply missed and memories of her are cherished by her daughters Cheryle Pelzer (husband Bob) and Ronda Wells (husband Brian); and sons Bev Schuetz and Jerry Schuetz (wife Brenda). Madalene loved her grandchildren, Pam (Josh) Allen, Steven (Fritzi) Pelzer, Jen (Jeremy) Caspell, David (Jodi) Pelzer, Tim (Sarah) Pelzer, Nathan (Shannyn) Schuetz, Tyson Schuetz, Jared (Lexi) Schuetz, Sam Schuetz, Josh Schuetz, and her nine great-grandchildren, Chris, Tahlia, Amira, Elias, Rosa, Charlie, and Bethany. Gabriella and Byron went to heaven earlier and Madalene is enjoying them there.

Madalene is survived by her brother, Audie Lange, and sister, Heidi Boldt, along with many nieces and nephews. She has left behind friends and sisters and brothers in the Lord whom she loved and fellowshipped with, interceded for, and ministered the Word of God with around the world in years gone by, alongside her husband.

Madalene is predeceased by her parents, Fredrick and Hedwig Lange, sisters Dorthea, Amanda, Margaret, Cecelia, Lucy, and Salome, and brothers Ben and Wally.

Madalene enjoyed sweet communion with Jesus and spent much time in prayer and in the Word of God. She thought the world of her husband and children, and the family home was very important to her. Her call to Africa led her to missionary work for many decades, which she put herself into, heart and soul, working alongside her husband. Madalene had a keen sense of humor, was practical with her hands, was a gifted teacher, and had tremendous insight into people and situations, often able to give wise counsel. Her smile and gentle spirit were noticed, and her friendship was treasured.

I lived in New Westminster B C.
I knew Lloyd Schuetz and would go with him to
Street meetings in Port Coquitlam !!! But there was
another reason for going out there, and for Lloyd, that was
to see a lady by the name of Madeline Lange !!!
So, I knew Lloyd & Madeline BEFORE they were married.
I remember being in her home once !! Lots of girls & accordion
music & singing !!! Madeline made the perfect "HELP MATE" for
Lloyd as missionary !!! Prayer warrior & well versed in Gods Word !!!
So many fond memories of my association with both of them !!!
So long for now, see you at His Throne !! My condolences to all
the family !!! John

We are sorry for your loss, Schuetz family. May the Lord comfort and strengthen you as you mourn and reflect. Madalene loved and served faithfully with Lloyd, so we try to imagine what it is like for them now with our Lord. Well done, Madalene. Your example inspires us.

Our deepest condolences to the Schuetz family. May God be your pillar of strength at this moment in time. I remember sitting under the ministry of Pastor and Sister Scheutz at Bethany Apostolic Church of Pentecost In Bulawayo.

Her beautiful smile, loving and kind heart when she would speak and pray. She touched the hearts of many in Africa. We were so blessed to have met a wonderful loving and caring Pastor and Sister Scheutz.

We will continue to pray for God's comfort over the families.🙏
