It is with profound sadness that we announce on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, Margaret Frances Waiting, age 87, passed away peacefully at Bethany Didsbury.

She will always be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She had a passion for the outdoors and was always happiest when out hiking and could out-walk everyone on the family.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Michael (Dale) Waiting, Michelle (Steven) Walker and Andrew (Yvonne) Waiting; granddaughters, Sydney and Katherine; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Terrance Waiting. She was the last of a long line of siblings consisting of 2 brothers and 9 sisters.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the care workers at Bethany Didsbury for their dedication to looking after our mother with dignity and grace.
