Margaret Grose

Margaret Grose, of Clive, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years. She was born in Bentley on July 3, 1932 to Charles and Sylvia Thorkman of the Eckville district.

Margaret lived a rich and full life alongside Morley, her best friend and husband of 57 years. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Warren (Wanda) and David; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Bernice Nelson. She was preceded in death by her beloved Morley; great grandson, Paxton; and her sisters, Betty Silbernegal, Jean Williams and Fern Skocdopole.

Margaret was an active member of The United Church, The Chatelaine Club, and enjoyed leading the local Cubs.

A private family Graveside Service to honor Margaret’s life will be held at a later date.

Her family wishes to extend their gratitude to Westpark Lodge for their loving care and support in her final years.
