Marilyn Iris Oosterhuis

Marilyn, age 78, passed with Feddo by her side after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

After marrying Feddo in 1988, they spent their time together travelling the world, camping, and taking part in community operations at Camp Kum-in-yar at Sylvan Lake, among many other activities. She was an avid bird watcher and nature lover. Marilyn relished in experiencing new places and meeting new people, and her generous and kind nature shone through her interactions with the world.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Feddo; her daughters, Cindy and Tammy (Viv); her granddaughters, Jamie and Sara; three sisters, Susan, Penny and Wendy (Wayne); in laws, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. We will continue to carry her spirit in our hearts as we share stories of a life well lived. Marilyn will be deeply missed by all who know her, and we are comforted by knowing she is watching over us.

Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Rex and Iris Wheeler, as well as other family members.

At this time there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
