After a lengthy struggle with ALS, Marty passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family and friends. Marty enjoyed sports, particularly Nascar, travel and taking his Harley out for a ride. Marty was gentle, kind and loyal and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Marty is lovingly remembered by his brother, Aldwin; sister, Mirande; partner in life, Isabel; and her son, Brendon. Marty was predeceased by his parents, father, Harry in 2015; and his mother, Ann in 2016.

Marty worked at the City of Calgary Transit department for 38 years before retiring in 2019. In retirement Marty enjoyed his favourite hobbies of travel, gardening and cooking. He will be missed by all for his smile and great sense of humour that was infectious.

It was a pleasure knowing you for 30 years. Growing up with you since I was a little girl was the best thing a step daughter could ask for. Rest in peace marty.
