Max Norris passed peacefully away on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at the age of 79 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty two years, Kathleen (Kay);

daughters, Tanya Hansford (Philip), and Trina Bartlett (Mike); sisters, Sandra Yeates (Peter) and Joy Janes; and sister in law, Vivian Templeman .

Max worked twenty eight years with Service Canada, and after retirement, he participated in several sports, including softball, indoor floor hockey, and bowling. He also took ballroom dance lessons and performed at several venues. Max loved to travel the world with Kay, and visited over forty countries.

A special thanks to Airdrie Home Care and Dulcina Hospice in Calgary, Alberta.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at at later date.

My deepest condolences to Max’s family! I worked with Max for years at Service Canada. It sounds like he enjoyed his time after retirement with lots of fun activities. He was a true gentleman!

So very sorry for your loss Kay. My condolences to you and your two beautiful daughters, Trina and Tanya. Max was a gentleman and we have all shared some wonderful times and laughs together. I will miss Max and his dry sense of humour among other things. RIP
