Marlene McComb passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday August 30, 2025 at Chinook Hospice in Calgary, after a tough battle with cancer.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kevin McComb, Cary McComb, Collene Walls, Korey (Suzie) McComb; grandchildren, Tim (Shania) Morrish, Felicia (Clint) McComb, David (Kelsey) McComb, Dustin (Talyn) Walls, Shaylee (Taylor) Walls, Courtney (Kade) Walls, William McComb, Abby McComb; great-grandchildren, Clyde, Houston, Rowdy, brother Jerry (Vydelle) Seitz; nieces, Sheree Seitz, Dee Dee (Kurtis) Kennedy; and Marlene’s partner in crime, travel companion, bestie, adopted daughter, Troylene Hofer.

Marlene was predeceased by her parents, Otto Seitz and Ann Duchak; stepfather, Bill Duchak; sister-in-law, Marie Seitz; nephew, Cody Seitz; and great-grandson, Colt Campkin.

Marlene was a legend for more then 20 years working at the Road King Truck Stop, she will be deeply missed by her family of friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tania and the staff at Chinook Hospice, especially Ada and Dolores who made moms last weeks comfortable.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
