Michael Claude Doucet

December 3rd, 2007 - December 9th, 2025
Michael Claude Doucet

With profound heartbreak, the family of Michael Claude Doucet shares his passing on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the age of 18. Michael was the cherished son of Selina and Richard (Rick) Doucet, and beloved brother to Matthew and Daniel.

Michael was born in Calgary, Alberta, 5 weeks early and ready to learn and grow. At just one year old, he began an early adventure when the family moved to Dubai. He spent his early childhood there until returning to Canada to begin Grade 3 at Our Lady Queen of Peace School and recently graduated from St. Martin de Porres High School.

Michael is lovingly remembered for his gentle spirit, quiet nature, kind heart, and his sweet smile framed by those unforgettable blue eyes. He loved dinosaurs, Jurassic Park, computers, and medieval history, and he was happiest when exploring the outdoors or camping with family. Halloween was Michael’s passion which he shared with his parents and eagerly helped create their elaborate annual yard display. This past fall he extended his involvement in Halloween working at Spirit of Halloween, bringing joy to others from behind the scenes during the season he adored. Michael spent much of his time happily hanging out at Denny’s with his friends.

Michael is predeceased by his great grandparents, Richard Cormier, and Emery and Muriel Doucet; his grandparents, John and Theresa Chisholm; and his uncle, Brent Chisholm.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents; his brothers, Matthew and Daniel; his great grandmother, Therese Cormier; grandparents, Claude and Anne Marie Doucet; aunts, Ginette Doucet and Melanie Barrieau (Louis), Shannon Bashir (Sam); uncles, Ken Chisholm (Marino) and Damon Chisholm (Sonja); along with many cousins and their children, all of whom loved him from near and far.

A Service will be held at St. Paul’s Parish in Airdrie on Saturday, January 3rd at 11:00 a.m., where family and friends will gather to honour Michael’s life, his kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Michael’s memory will forever remain a blessing to all who knew him.

I knew Michael briefly in highschool. We only talked fleetingly as well. But every time it was only kindness and respect from him. Always positive.
