Mike came to work for me at Kokanee Ford Sales Ltd. in Creston, BC. where he met Karen, my book keeper at the time. We formed a great working relationship over the next couple years and I learned a lot about customer service from him. His love and mine of golf, was a common theme and we played many rounds together. I fondly remember him having a small bottle on his deck at all times that was filled with seemingly "Holy Water". He could sprinkle it on just about any problem to magically fix things and I still use that adage to this day, when service customer's are really having a bad day. His sense of humor was infectious and I will remember that forever. God rest Michael.

I worked with Mike at Adesa AUTO Auctions, we drove all over the province picking up vehicles. One day we were asked if we could pickup a truck near Radium BC. Mike and I agreed to do it the next day. When we arrived in Radium at the 3 way stop a herd of bighorn rams were standing in the cross walk. We stopped at the stop sign and the rams walked across the highway in the crosswalk. Mike and I laughed about that incident for yrs after. I’ll remember that for along time my friend.
