Michael Stamp

Mike Stamp was born in Germany on March 10, 1956, and passed away in Calgary on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the age of 70.

 Mike came to Canada with his family as a child. They made their way across Canada, spending time in Saskatoon before eventually settling in Bowden, Alberta. As a young adult, Mike made his way to Calgary, where he would spend the rest of his life. 

 Mike enjoyed the simple things in life — spending time with family and friends, fishing, looking after his aquariums, listening to music, and, of course, enjoying a joint whenever he could. Music was always a favourite, and Frank Zappa held the top spot on his list. 

Mike is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Roland, Susan, (Kandice), and Kurt; his children, Melissa, Sarah, and Eric; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Kaylee, Mayson, and Hannah. He was predeceased by his parents, Lilly and Fred. 

Mike lived his life in his own way, surrounded by the people, interests, and music he enjoyed.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
