Myrna Lathwell (Edge)

On May 10 2023 at the age of 83, Myrna quietly completed her life journey and now gently rests.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert, her mother Ida and her father Oliver.

Myrna will be greatly missed by her sister Gail, oldest son Murray, daughter Andrea and her children Brodie and Kit, son  Russell and daughter in-law Tami and their children Shannon (Lucia), Kriston (Erika), Kyle, and Alysia (Ryan); as well as great grandchildren Mia, Lua and Easton.  She will also be missed by family and friends from all over Alberta.

Myrna was born in Calgary Alberta. December 5th 1939, she was wed in 1959 to Robert Lathwell. The couple lived for short periods in Swift Current and Whitecourt before settling in Carstairs to raise their children. Stays in Lloydminster and Airdrie preceded her settling back in the Cochrane area where she and Bob had grown up and met.

Mom, while we hurt and miss your absence in this world, we send you love, joy and hope on your new journey.  I know that; like a snowflake never goes away it just changes state, you will never be gone. You will be with us always in memories and in little ways.

A celebration of her life will be held in the future for family and close friends.
