In Loving Memory of Nicholas (Nick) Romyn

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Romyn, who left us unexpectedly on October 27, 2025.

Nick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-uncle, uncle, and friend whose kindness and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Marlene, his son and daughter-in-law Nicky and Charlene Romyn, and his cherished grandchildren Curtis (Amy) and Nicole (Evan). The family eagerly awaits the arrival of a precious baby girl who will forever know her great-grandfather’s love through their stories and memories; and his 2 brothers, Mike (Marjorie) and Arie (Brenda).

Loved and adored by his extended family, Nick was known as an uncle to many and a great-uncle to his beloved girls and little man — Aurora, Paisley, Alessio, Anaya, and a baby on the way. His love for them was boundless, and his gentle spirit will continue to live on through their laughter and joy.

Nick was predeceased by his parents Betty and Harry, his beloved son Denny, and his faithful dog Snoopy, whose memory he carried in his heart every day.

Known for his steady presence, generous spirit, and deep devotion to family, Nick lived a life built on love, hard work, and faith. His warmth, humour, and wisdom will continue to guide those he leaves behind.

A celebration of Nick's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share memories and honour the legacy of a remarkable man.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you cherish time with your loved ones — just as Nicholas always did.

Forever loved. Forever remembered.

My most sincere condolences to you, Marlene, and the family. Nick was a true family man. He was always helping his family. I got to know Nick back in 2013. Nick helped Lucille and me several times over the years. Nick will be truly missed.
