Norma Campbell

Norma Campbell passed away in Calgary on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the age of 89 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Ron (Sylvia) and Ken; her niece, Linda Rae Roy; and many other nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; her parents, Albert Hills and Mary Clark; sisters, Rhea and Grace; brothers, Vernon and Wayne.

Born May 19, 1934, in Camrose, AB, she grew up on the farm.  She obtained her grade 12 piano, and loved to play.  It was always comforting listening to her, as she had a beautiful touch for playing.  She loved cats and always had one growing up. She was a gentle soul and a strong believer in God’s word. She will be greatly missed.

I, Ken Campbell, would like to thank everybody who helped me with my mother in these last difficult years of her life.  Your help and kindness will never be forgotten.

A Graveside Service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Calgary, AB, on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 12:00 PM.  A Celebration of  Life will be held at a later date.

I was saddened to learn of Norma's passing! My condololenes to Kenny, Ron and Sylvia.
While living in Calgary several years ago we were great friends with Kenny and often visited Gord and Norma at their lovely, spacious home! I remember always feeling welcome at the Campbell home and how tidy it was! Norma always had the kettle on to offer up some tea and dessert! Gord and Norma had great stories of the adventures they had been on and all the places they had seen!
Keep the special memories of your parents close to you Kenny and Ron! God Bless you both!
Take care!
