Norma Oldfield

Norma was born July 14th, 1932 in Water Valley, Alberta. She was the second daughter of Victor and Nellie Dewhurst. Norma attended Water Valley School where she met Joe Oldfield and eventually they married in 1949. Together they lived on the Oldfield farm SW of Water Valley where they raised their five children, Irene (Peter), Don (Marion), Tom (Lynn) Myrna (Randy), Mona (Blaine). They enjoyed life on the farm until they retired and moved to Sundre. Joe sadly passed away in 1997 after which Norma stayed in Sundre, eventually moving into the lodge until her passing. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends and all those she touched through the years. Any memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association www.diabetes.ca. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cremona Hall in Cremona, AB on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
