Perry Ward

Perry Ward was born in Drumheller, Alberta, on October 28, 1957, and passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the age of 68, surrounded by his loving daughters, Kathy and Crystal.

Perry was the son of Kenneth and Madeline Ward. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Crystal Santos and Kathy Canas; his son-in-law, Hector Canas; his grandchildren, Alex and Nathan; his brothers, Shawn and Miles; his sisters, Kari and Rhonda as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Perry lived quietly and without fuss. He was a man who valued his privacy but never turned down the warmth of good company. Whether sharing a story over a cold beer or simply enjoying time with friends, he found meaning in life’s simple moments. He will be remembered for his steady nature, quiet loyalty, and the genuine connections he held close.

Perry will be deeply missed by his family and friends. We take comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and has found peace.

In keeping with Perry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Details will follow.
