Reginald Layn Slager

On Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 3:15 am, our Lord Jesus called Layne home to be with mom, Grace; dad, Dave; sister Phyllis; brother, Rod; and brothers-in-law, Rudy and Bill.

He is lovingly remembered by sisters, Dianne Alberda, and Lori McClyment; nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Layn gave up his fight in the presence of Diann, Lori and nephew, Keith Alberda as they held his hands and prayed.

Layn wanted all family and friends to know he loves them and all trespasses are forgiven.

“God loved Layn so much He gave His only son Jesus, so that when Layne believed in Jesus, Layn will not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16

At Layn’s request, cremation has taken place and he hopes you celebrate life everyday.
