In Memory
Reid Fisher/Holuk

Reid was suddenly taken from us Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at
the young age of 16; in a tragic accident that also took his “love you more”,
Lila (Morrison).
Reid was born in Calgary, December 8, 2007, and was raised on a
small farm west of Didsbury, where he enjoyed the freedoms and free range of
country living. He attended school in Didsbury since preschool, which meant
many of his friendships reach all the way back to learning to tie shoes
together, if not further. As Reid grew, he became involved with team sports.
First hockey and then his passion, Basketball. His devotion and ever-increasing
height made him a great contender to excel in the sport he quickly fell in love
with. He could spend hours with buddies at the court, or just practicing shots
on the basket he built for home. Reid’s interests weren’t limited to the courts
and ice though, he was a kid who could be comfortable in his own quiet company.
He loved the outdoors, the yearly numerous family camping trips, and
enthusiastically playing video games! Reid was a hard worker when it came to
his farm chores, sports, outdoor activities, and also his first real job at the
1906 Bistro Bar, where he enjoyed connecting with his coworkers and trying new
foods. He was proud of the new skills he was learning and had crazy big plans
for the cash he was earning. For many years Reid was the youngest child in his
home, as time went on Reid’s families expanded with step-siblings, a niece, a
nephew and a new baby brother. Reid’s heart grew to love & appreciate them
all. Losing Reid in our lives, will leave an unfillable hole. He will be dearly
missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Rachelle (Jeremy); father, Bob (Teena);
siblings, Cydney (Shae), Madisun (Josh) & Garrett; step-siblings; Aylish,
Jaxson, Hailey, Tanner; papa & mama, Gary & Lorna; grandfather, Larry
(Ann); godmother, Auntie Randilee; nephew, Beau; niece, Nevaeh; along with
numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at the Zion
Evangelical Missionary Church in Didsbury, AB, on Wednesday, January 3, 2024,
at 1:00 PM.
