My Husband Don Kobi said he boarded with Ron & Melva in Red Deer(I think) at one time when he was young. Not sure what year or why. Sending lots of hugs and prayers to your lovely, huge family. From Me, Lila, Christina and Family and Noel and Family.

Ron — or Dad, as I was lucky enough to call him — was the kind of man who showed his love through actions. Fiercely devoted to his family, he never hesitated to stand up for what he believed in or for the people he cared about. He had this quiet strength, a sharp wit, and a sense of humor that could cut through the toughest of days. No matter what life threw at him, he faced it head-on — with a joke ready, and usually a clever one at that.

He was a constant, a protector, and someone who made you feel safe just by being in the room. Losing him leaves a hole that words can’t really fill, but I take comfort in knowing he’s somewhere up there, probably cracking jokes and making everyone laugh — just like he always did down here.

You’ll be sorely missed. Devotion, laughter, and your strength live on in all of us.
