It is with great sadness that the family of Ron Gale of Sundre, AB announce his passing on Monday, April 17, 2023, at the Sundre Hospital at the age of 90. 

Ron was a hard-working rancher who broke and trained horses and dogs. 

Ron will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Olwyn; his daughters, Debbie (Gene) and Brenda (Miles); his sons, Bronc (Brenda) and Shane (Michele); one granddaughter, Paige; 5 grandsons, Doug, Darcy, Dayton, Quentin and Colten; three great-grandsons, Jase, Grayson and Waylon; one sister, Dorothy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret; 2 brothers, Ray and Gordon; and a grandson, Wyatt 

A memorial service will be held at the Bergen Missionary Church on April 29, 2023, at 12:00PM.

Ron will remain forever etched in my memory. It was a dream of mine to own and train a stock dog, I asked Ron if he would train my dog, he said to me that he would not train my dog, that he would train me to train my dog. That was music to my ears, he taught me so much not only about training stock dogs, but also found something about myself. Ron, can't thank you enough, appreciated your time and coaching and sharing of stories. I know there is lots of pasture to ride and sheep and cattle to work with your dogs and horses. Rest easy my friend.

It's been a very long time since I've uncle Ron and Olwyn. It was at dad and Dorothy's on a Boxing Day get together many years ago.
Sending my most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends. My heart will be with you all.
