Ron loved his family.
Following high school, he worked as a Commissionaire at the Calgary Court House and Calgary International Airport and later in the warehouse at Westfair Foods.
He was a big fan of the Colorado Avalanche. In recent years he made many friends in the PlayStation gaming community.
Ron battled back from a bout of cancer and more recently Covid with the support of his sister, Jeanine, a nurse, he referred to as The Boss. His family would like to thank the caring staff of the ICU at the Peter Lougheed Centre, Airdrie Home Care, Dr. Gye and Dr. Oladipo Odubanjo, fondly called Dr. O by his patients.
The family will hold a Celebration of Ron’s Life at a later date.
