Ross Hillier
Ross Gordon Hillier passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on March 23, 2024 at the age of 84 years. He was born on June 15, 1939 along with his twin brother Robert(Bob). He married the love of his life on May 30th, 1958. Together they had three children, Todd, Connie and Joanne.
Dad was well known in Georgetown, Ontario and played in the band for weddings and different venues. He worked in sales and the newspaper business for many years.  In 1975 mom and dad bought a general store in  Benmiller, Ontario and enjoyed the country life  for 5 years. They met many wonderful people in the five years they spent there.  In 1980 they moved to Calgary and dad worked for the Calgary Herald and  Calgary Sun for several years and then moved on to Stars Air Ambulance where he worked until he retired.
Dad loved golfing, baseball, hockey and camping.
He was predeceased by his wife Frances in 1999, his brothers William(Bill), Robert(Bob), and sister June. He is survived by his brother Jack.

Brother-in-law Don Ernewein, Brother-in-law Ken (Mary) Ernewein, Sister-in-law Lynn (Jim) Farwell and children.
Step children Jenny (Cliff) Knisley, Anita (Wayne) Edwards, Jacalyne (Alfiero) Innarelli and step grandchildren, Alec, Enzo and Gia.

We are so sorry to hear of Ross's passing. So many fond memories of growing up in Georgetown with Ross and Bob. Please extend our sincere sympathies to Jack and the Erneiwein families.
