Roy C. Danielson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy C. Danielson, loving husband, Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa on March 5, 2023, age 84 years at the Red Deer Hospice, with family by his side.

Roy was born January 4, 1939 in Manitoba. Roy loved his family very much and enjoyed being with them.

He enjoyed farming, curling, darts and playing cards with family and friends.

Roy is survived by his loving wife, Bernice, of 42 years; sons, Nelson Danielson (Agnes), Richard Danielson (Angela); stepson, John Shotton; daughters, Sandi Berg (Clayton) and Dianne Danielson (Brian); grandchildren, Shara Werestuik (Kris), Katrina Danielson (Chase), Natasha Danielson and Tamara Zagozewski; great-grandchildren, Madeline Werestuik, Blake Danielson and Aria Kroetsch; sister,  June Norton; brothers, James Danielson (Sharon) David Danielson and Dennis Danielson (Georgina); In-laws: Doreen Derksen (Donnie), Henry Richard, Brian Richard (Linda), Donald Richard and Gerald Grenier; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Following his wishes, Roy was cremated and family and friends attended a small Tribute To His Wishes Lunch.

Thank you to the Red Deer Hospital staff for the great care while Roy was with you. Thank You to Red Deer Hospice for the great care and compassion you showed Roy and all of us. Thank you to Sandi, Clayton, Dianne, Natasha, Tamara, Theresa and Mike for all the help you gave. A Special Heartfelt Thank You to our Children and grandchildren for their help, love and support in this difficult time.
