Sandra Lynne Erdos

With deep love and profound sadness, the family of Sandy Erdos, of Calgary, Alberta, announces her passing on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the age of 62.

Sandy is lovingly remembered by her husband, Rod Erdos; her son, Tayler Letendre; her stepdaughter, Kayla Erdos-Brown (Teswayne Brown), and cherished granddaughter, Amelia Brown; her sister, Brenda Palmer; and her sisters-in-law, Karen Erdos and Julie Erdos; and her dear friends, Maggie Mikkelsen and Brandee Misana. She was predeceased by her stepdaughter, Nikki Erdos-Fischer; her parents and older sister.

Sandy lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. She loved the freedom of riding her motorcycle every opportunity she had, the blazing years spent playing softball, and many fun nights playing euchre. Her happiest moments were those spent with her granddaughter Amelia and in the company of friends and family. Sandy gave generously of her time, especially through her volunteer work with AAA (Against All Abuse), a charity riding group whose mission she cared for deeply.

She was a dedicated employee of Telematic Controls, where she worked for 17 years and built many lasting connections.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Town and Country Centre, 275 Jensen Drive NE, Airdrie, Alberta on Tuesday, December 16 at 12:30 p.m. All who knew and loved Sandy are welcome.

Memorial donations can be made in Sandy’s honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, www.heartandstroke.ca a cause meaningful to her and her family.

The family wishes to share the following poem in Sandy’s honour:

“I Am Gone”

You can shed tears that I am gone

Or you can smile because I lived

You can close your eyes and pray that I will come back

Or you can open your eyes and see all that I left behind

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see me

Or you can be full of the love that I shared

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live in yesterday

Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday

You can remember me and only that I am gone

Or you can cherish my memory and let it live on

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back

Or you can do what I would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

We are saddened but as the poem says we will remember Sandy as the bright light that she is in our heart. We will miss her but know she rides with us as another guardian angel. Rest in peace dear sister.

I first met Sandy Erdos on a memorial ride for another AAA member. She was one of the first to greet me when I approached the clubhouse and made sure to introduce me to other members that were there and as they arrived even though i tried to hide in the outskirts. Through the following months she always lent an ear when I had questions and was very warm and genuine in her interactions. Though our time together was brief I can honestly say she was a great person and will surely be missed. Ride in Peace "Psycho B". 🥲🫡😔🏍
