In Memory

Scott Michael Landry

March 3rd, 1970 - November 13th, 2025
Scott Michael Landry

It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Scott Michael Landry, a cherished father, partner, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. We find comfort that Scott is in heaven with God and reunited with our Mom & Dad (Floyd and Jean Landry).

He is deeply mourned by his family, his son, Cameron (Cameron's Mom, Katrina Irwin); his partner, Kelly, and his siblings, Brian (Debby) Landry, Bruce Landry, Karen (Darcy) Ternes and his nieces, Meghan (Todd) Felix/Landry, Amy Ternes (Ben Laurin) and Jenna (Quinn) Bohnet.

Born on March 3, 1970, in Kingston, Ontario, Scott’s life was a testament to love, compassion, and unwavering strength and positivity. His presence brought light and joy to everyone around him.

Throughout his childhood and teen years, Scott lived in Petawawa, Ontario, moved to Lahr, Germany, then Debert, Nova Scotia; attended high school in Charlottetown, PEI, before ultimately settling in Calgary, Alberta, where he made his home for the rest of his life.

In his twenties, Scott worked on Darcy’s farm, embracing Alberta life and never shying away from getting his hands dirty. He later joined in working at Karen and Darcy’s ice cream shop in Calgary. His natural charm and style eventually led him to George Richards Big and Tall, where he took great pride in dressing to the nines and expressing his fashion sense.

Scott and Katrina married in 2009 and welcomed the birth of their beloved son, Cameron, in October 2010 who changed his life forever.

In 2013, Scott met his dear partner and best friend, Kelly, with whom he shared deep companionship and love.

Scott was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2009 and faced his illness with courage, resilience, and dignity for 16 years.

Scott leaves behind a legacy of courage, strength, laughter, and love, one that lives on in the many lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Scott's name can be made to MS Society, https://mscanada.donorportal.ca/Donation/Donation.aspx?F=1893&T=GENER&L=en-CA&G=358&NFP=1&utm_medium=paidsearch&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=thd-msc-23-06-ps-evergreen-conv&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20682813328&gbraid=0AAAAADQMwSdkTD4FIhEt7b7Gd_IGeDD8R&gclid=Cj0KCQiArOvIBhDLARIsAPwJXOYtK8uEOFodx_pOkbAjS7xyxHFMuifTRag7VbWXGmqkv5eC-ok8MTwaAs01EALw_wcB

A Memorial Service will be held at Skyview Community Church, 9685 Harvest Hills, Calgary, AB on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

Gosh, so young, so sad, I know you are all broken hearted in the loss of someone so dear! I will never forget Karen asking me to stop into her parents house in PEI and picking up a couple of pair of jeans of Scottie’s to bring back to Calgary, we enjoyed tea and biscuits!! I only meet him once and he had the biggest smile and made you feel so welcome!! He will be missed, prayers for you all!
