Sharon May Larrivee

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our loving mother, Sharon Larrivee. Mom passed peacefully at Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, AB on May 10, 2025, at the age of 74.

Sharon was born to Louie and Muriel Lucier on October 10, 1950 in Wood Hill, SK. She grew up on a farm with five of her siblings. When Sharon grew up she moved to Thompson, MB and this is where she married the love of her life, Robert Larrivee and where they welcomed their 1st daughter Donna. They later moved to Leoville, SK where they welcomed their 2nddaughter Shawna. Leoville was home until Robert passed away and then Sharon moved to Calgary to be with her girls.

Sharon was one of the hardest working people you will ever come across. She would always welcome you into the house for a coffee (her favorite thing!). Other favorite things were gardening, woodworking, playing cards, bingo and always looking forward to the girls coming home to visit.

Mom did not want Donna to get any cats, but boy did she change her mind when Donna brought home 2 kittens. She fell in love with them, and they became her babies.

Sharon is lovingly remembered by her loving daughters, Donna (Walter), Shawna (Jim) and Karen; brother, Ron (Teri); and numerous nieces and nephews. She's predeceased by her parents, husband Robert; sister Susie; brothers Stan, Amos, Edward and brothers-in-law, Louis, Omer, Gerry and Carl.

As per mom’s request, there will be no service. The family will bring her home to Leoville to rest in the summer and have a small graveside service.
