In Memory
Shawn Sidney Johnson

Shawn Sidney Johnson, age 60 passed away suddenly at his home in Calgary, Alberta.
Shawn was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and lived in surrounding areas. Moving to Calgary just recently to start a new chapter in life. He worked as an iron worker, a trade that reflected his strength and resilience. More than his work, Shawn will be remembered for the way he lived - on his own terms - the way he wanted to.
Shawn was an adventurer at heart. He loved discovering hidden treasures, appreciating art, and in his younger years, riding his dirt bike with his friends and nephews. He had a deep love for old cars and held a special place in his heart for the acreage he grew up on, where many cherished memories were made.
A stand-up man through and through, Shawn would give you the shirt off his back. He didn’t always believe in traditional methods and often chose to make his own path. Known for his silly jokes and quick wits, he also carried one of the biggest hearts.
Shawn is lovingly remembered by his four children and grandchildren, Sherae (Jaxson), Shawna (Matix), Sharla (Gracelyn & Autumn) and Shane; four sisters, Jacqueline (Fred), Mechele (Norm), RayLynn (Bryson), and Merilynn (Jeff); nephews Jory, Brayden, Coalbey, Keanyn, Kassen, Sharred and his niece Julia; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Mervin and Carol Ann Johnson.
A Celebration of Shawn’s Life will take place at a later date. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know and love him.
Until we meet again…..
