Sheree Toner

With deep love and profound sadness, we announce that Sheree Gail Toner (née Eby) of Water Valley, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Mom was born in Didsbury, Alberta, and raised in Water Valley, where she and Dad built their life together and remained throughout her years. She lived with a full heart — embracing life with love, laughter, strong opinions, and a deep love to her family. She cherished camping trips, traveling, playing games with family and friends, and especially the hugs and presence of her beloved grandchildren.

Left to treasure her memory is her husband of 50 years, Don; her daughters, Mandy and Michelle (Tarek); and her greatest joys, her grandchildren, Nick, Hannah, Noah, Kadin, and Malik. She is also survived by her sisters, Bev (Dave) Reay, Barb (Larry) Ottoson, Nadine, and Natalie (Frank) Kuhtic; her in laws, David (Dawne) Toner, Jean Hoffseth, and Leona Toner; her lifelong friend, Ada Taks; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mom was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Jean Eby, and her brothers Melvin and Roger.

Honoring Mom’s wishes, a small family gathering will be held at a later date. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional staff at Dulcina Hospice for the compassionate care they provided.
