Stephanie was born December 8,1948 in St Thomas to the late James and Ruth (O'Heron), she was baptized in Holy Angels Church and was married to Lyle in Holy Angels Church on September 14, 1968. Lyle and Stephanie originally met when they started their schooling at A.V.S.S. in grade 9 and were closest friends ever since. They embarked on a new life to Calgary Alta in 1969, Lyle joined the RCMP and they travelled all over Alberta, Resolute Bay, Nwt and Nu, and Tulita and Yellowknife NWT.

Stephanie loved the children of the north, organizing a children hobby night every Wednesday in Resolute Bay, teaching young kids maybe 30 strong, how do to our traditional hobby crafts and they would teach her their craft.  It was so heart warming when a lot of the children flooded into our house on weds. in flocks to attend her group classes. There only 167 people up there, even the elders would come. She loved them all.

There will be a Celebration of Life, at a later date. Any donations to the Red Deer Hospice would be appreciated.
