Gionet passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023 in Drumheller, AB, at the age of
58. He is lovingly remembered by his mother,
Shirley Gionet and her friend Dorothy Grovier; his brother, Gerry Jr.; many aunts
and uncles; and his special friend, Pat Wells. He was predeceased by his sister,
Lisa.
Troy
was good with his hands and could often be found fixing broken bicycles, cars,
and doing home repairs.
He
had a love of music and entertained his friends by playing the guitar and
singing.
A
Celebration of Life for Troy will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Troy’s
memory may be made to Valley Veterinary Clinic in Drumheller at 1141 South
Railway Ave, Drumheller, AB T0J 0Y6.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was sad to hear the passing of Troy. I meet Troy at Armstrong roller rink who was my first waltzing partner way back when I was 16. Thanks Troy for teaching me to dance on wheels. I still roller skate to this day. I can still picture Troy skating to Time will tell. I finally reconnected with Troy just last year. You will be missed by all people who you came into their lives. ❤️

I'm sad to hear this. I have known Troy for over 30 years and we lost touch a couple of years back. He would always be there for you when you needed. He will be missed. Would love to know what he was doing the last couple of years and if there will be a service. Thanks
