Wesley "Everett" Bennett

August 11th, 1933 - November 14th, 2025

A lifelong resident of Airdrie, Everett passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years. He was predeceased by his lifelong partner, Virginia, in 2019 after 64 years of marriage.

Everett will be lovingly remembered by his 3 children, Lori (Del) Allison, Sharan Bennett, and Darin (Jodi) Bennett; 7 grandchildren, Megan(Laverty), Carnahan (Quentin), Doug (Ashley), Amanda (Ryan) Padlesky, Ryan (Sasha) Vidler, Dustin (Trina), Delane (Phil) Atkinson and Dallas (Lisa); and 18 great-grandchildren.

Our father was a kind, gentle man who showed not just by words, but actions, how much he loved us. A man of integrity, he was honest and had strong morals and principles. After attending Olds College he married mom on September 10, 1955 and together they farmed east of Airdrie for over 40 years. He was the best dad and because of him our lives were blessed. We miss him already and will love him forever. xxx ooo

I will never forget spending Uncle Everett’s 80th at my place in Birch Bay, Washington. The picture of he and Aunt Ginny, sitting on the deck, so close, holding hands and watching the sunset…it’s fondly etched into my memory. Their love was profound and admirable. I’ll keep them in my heart the rest of my days. I send my love to all you wonderful Bennetts and you’ll always be Bennetts to me!

My deepest condolences to the Everett family, I have many fond memories of both your parents when we were neighbors across the road. Your Dad took my parents from Holland out for a drive in the field to see the longhorn cows, one of the many kind and thoughtful things he did. May you find comfort in many wonderful memories of life on the farm!
