William Edward McDonald

William Edward McDonald, known to many as Bill, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025.

Bill was a quiet man who found his greatest joy in nature. He loved to fish, spending long hours by the water, and had a deep appreciation for photography, often capturing the beauty around him. Music was another profound love in his life, offering comfort, meaning, and companionship through the years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Vera (Harley). He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tammy Armstrong-McDonald; his daughter, Erin McDonald; his stepson, Adam; his stepdaughter, Zaina (and her husband, Chris); his two granddaughters; and his brothers, Allen and Jeanette (Henry), Raymond and Norma Jean (Taylor), and Don and Brenda (Antifaev), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Bill will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the quiet, thoughtful way he experienced and appreciated the world.

 “Gone Fishing” – David Ritter
If someone should ask for me, tell 'em heaven is where I'll be.
I've finished all my life's chores, and now I fish on heaven's shores.
The view is grand and the fishing's great, but I yearn for you as I wait.
I'll save a spot on the river's bend, for all those I call family and friend.
But for now, sail out to sea, and make a cast in memory,
to all the good times from the past, so the memories will ever last.
And if the fish no longer bite or seem no longer worth the fight,
because it's me that you are missin', don't worry, be glad I've only gone fishin'.

To my cherished husband ""Cookie" ; Thank you or being my safe Harbor and my greatest adventure. You loved me with a depth that changed my life forever. While my heart is broken, it is also full of the memories we built together. I love you beyond words, you were my buddy, and I will carry you with me in every breath.
