William Kinvig

William passed away suddenly at the South Health Campus in Calgary Alberta, on Tuesday, October 10th 2023.

Born March 15th, 1942 in Three Hills, Alberta to Frances and William Kinvig. He was the youngest of four children; David, Edgar and Ruth having spent their early lives farming in and around Red Deer. Eventually he ending up delivering fuel all through out Central Alberta for 30 years. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed going for coffee with friends, camping and spending time with his grand daughters. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and quick wit. Always making a silly joke whether you were a perfect stranger or close friend.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Louise Kinvig of Red Deer Alberta; his three children, Sara Kinvig (Shane) of Red Deer, Alberta, Scott Kinvig (Tina) of Cayley, Alberta and Stuart Kinvig of Cayley Alberta as well as his two granddaughters, the oldest Morgan Kinvig and the youngest Courtney Kinvig of Red Deer, Alberta and numerous family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Gatez Memorial United Church on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm.

My fondest memories of Uncle Will, are of him laughing and teasing all of us kids. If he wasn't teasing, he was probably napping with the littlest one curled up on his chest. He is missed.

Many memories from long ago. Will had a dry wit, always made us chuckle. Warm thoughts to Louise and family, as you begin to cherish Will's memory
